ArcInfo Project Tool
Summary
The Project Tool is a new tool for ArcToolbox. The primary use of the Project Tool is to perform batch projections using a pre-defined projection file. If you do not have a projection file, you can either use the Project Wizard to interactively define and save a projection file, or you can use the Projection File Builder, which is available when you click the projection file browser button on the tool. The Projection File Builder is an easy to use tool that allows you to quickly define a projection file. The tool may only be used in the ArcInfo version of ArcToolbox. In order to successfully run this tool, access to ArcInfo Workstation is required, either locally or via a Geoprocessing Server. This tool works exclusively with ArcInfo coverages and grids.
