Published: May 20, 2008

Summary

Details about the Incentive Program for ArcGIS 9.3 Release Candidate Program participants.

Release Candidate Incentive Program

ArcGIS 9.3 Release Candidate recipients are automatically enrolled in our Release Candidate Incentive Program. All feedback, including support requests, survey responses, forum post answers, and software bugs reported between May 19-June 30 will be awarded incentive program points. Points will be tallied for awards and announced during a special Release Candidate reception at the ESRI International User Conference. You do not need to attend the ESRI UC to receive an award.

Accumulating Points (May 19-June 30)

There are several easy and convenient ways to give feedback and accumulate points in the Release Candidate incentive program. And, every participant who submits a support request will also receive an ESRI t-shirt.

  • Submit a Support Request (3 points)
You can submit a support request to ESRI Support Services related to ArcGIS 9.3 Release Candidate software. Each request will be evaluated by ESRI Support Services to ensure all requests are unique in nature; duplicate support requests from the same customer will not be awarded points. All participants who submit a support request will receive an ESRI T-shirt.
  • Take the Surveys (5 points)
We will be sending surveys to gather feedback on a variety of topics related to the ArcGIS 9.3 Release Candidate. You will be awarded 5 points for each survey you complete and submit back to ESRI.
  • Post Answers in the Forums (7 points)
The ArcGIS 9.3 Release Candidate forums are where community members can post questions and respond with answers in topic threads. If the original poster marks the question as answered, 7 points will be awarded to the person who answered the question. After a question has been answered, a star will appear next to the topic thread in the threads list and next to the message that was awarded the points in the messages list.
  • Report Software Bugs (10 points)When you submit a support request to ESRI Support Services and the result of the support request is a software bug you will be awarded 10 points. ESRI Support Services will provide tracking number for software bug submissions.
