Introduction
Esri announces ArcGIS 10.2 GeoEvent Processor Patch 1 for Server. With Google Chrome version 29.0.1547.57m or greater, the GeoEvent Processor Manager may not display properly for administrators. With this patch the Manager will properly display in current versions of Google Chrome. We recommend this update be applied at your earliest convenience.
Enhancements and Issues Addressed with this Patch
TFS28495 - GeoEvent Processor Manager does not display the GeoEvent Definition or Logs pages with Google Chrome version 29.0.1547.57m or greater.
Files Installed with this Patch
Under <ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor install location>\GeoEventProcessor\manager files have been upgraded to Dojo 1.6.2.
Installing this Patch on Windows
ArcGIS 10.2 GeoEvent Processor for Server must be installed before you can install this patch.
Installation Steps:
- Download the patch to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
Checksum (Md5) ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor for Server ArcGIS-10.2-GeoEventProcessor-Patch1.msp 68CD7BDF44E3702AEFD8290B462BD9F7 - Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location.
- Double-click ArcGIS-10.2-GeoEventProcessor-Patch1.msp to start the install process.
Note: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
msiexec.exe /p <location of patch>\ArcGIS-10.2-GeoEventProcessor-Patch1.msp
Installing this Patch on Linux
ArcGIS 10.2 GeoEvent Processor for Server must be installed before you can install this patch.
Installation Steps:
- Download the patch to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
Checksum (md5) ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor for Server ArcGIS-10.2-GeoEventProcessor-Patch1.tar.gz 672595E92B4885A51A77CC3445730232 - Login as the ArcGIS Server user and make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location, and that no one is using ArcGIS.
- Extract the specified tar file by typing:
% tar -xvfz ArcGIS-10.2-GeoEventProcessor-Patch1.tar.gz
- Copy the GeoEventServiceDesigner.exe files from ./ArcGISGeoEventProcessor/Support/ to a Windows machine
Note: The GeoEventSimulator and GeoEvent Service Designer need to be used on a Windows machine. - Run the Installation by typing:
% ./ArcGISGeoEventProcessor/Patch.sh

How to identify which ArcGIS products are installed
To determine which ArcGIS products are installed, choose the appropriate version of the PatchFinder utility for your environment and run it from your local machine. PatchFinder will list products, hot fixes, and patches installed on your local machine.
To determine which version of ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor for Server is installed append/version.txt
to the GeoEvent Manager URL.For example:
https://localhost:6143/geoevent/manager/version.txt
