ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) PostgreSQL Versioning Patch
Summary
Description
EsriĀ® announces the ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) PostgreSQL Versioning Patch. This patch addresses three situations that pertain specifically to a versioning environment on PostgreSQL. In two situations, states may be lost or incorrectly returned through a version. In the third scenario, a user may not be able to unregister a feature class as versioned with the option to compress. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.
Issues Addressed with this Patch
- NIM090555 - With a high volume of edits, data loss may occur during a geodatabase compression.
- NIM089024 - Added logic that creates and releases savepoints on a cursor for Replication in certain circumstances.
- NIM091439 - Unregistering a versioned feature class with the option, "Compress all edits in the Default version into the base table" chosen in the Unregister as Versioned dialog will fail.
