In the context of SAP HANA databases, support for application locking was introduced starting with version 2.0 SPS 08 (revision 81), and the feature is already available in SAP HANA Cloud. For enterprise geodatabases on SAP HANA, the application locking feature became available in the following release versions:
If you are currently using an SAP HANA database version earlier than 2.0 SPS 08 (revision 81), we highly recommend upgrading to this release to take advantage of the application locking feature for maintaining data integrity when editing branch versioned data.
