Why is my image service raster layer's name different when I reopen my map?

Answer

In ArcMap, if you change the name of a raster layer from an ArcIMS image service, and save the map, when you reopen the map, the layer reverts to its original name.

This has been resolved at ArcGIS Version 8.1.2.
