Why is my hosted feature layer view not updated in ArcGIS Insights after replacing the view’s source hosted feature layer?

For performance reasons, metadata about feature layers is cached for up to one hour. Therefore, when changing the source layer of a feature layer view there can be a delay of up to one hour before changes are updated in ArcGIS Insights.
