Frequently asked question

Why is connectivity not established when creating a new complex edge feature and snapping a vertex to an existing junction?

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Answer

Mid-span connectivity is not established when a vertex of a complex edge feature is snapped to an existing junction.

This behavior can be created through customization using the IComplexEdgeFeature:ConnectAtIntermediateVertices method. Calling this method each time a complex edge is created can, however, slow down the create feature operation and should only be used when needed.
