Why doesn't the supplied code unlock the extension when registering ArcPad StreetMap?

It is likely that an incorrect authorization code was entered in the registration dialog box.

Common scenarios are:

* An incorrect Device Key Number was entered when obtaining the authorization code at
Be sure to use the Device Key Number displayed in the registration dialog box on your device.

* The data authorization code was entered instead of the extension authorization code. Keep in mind both the extension and the data must be registered. Be sure to enter the correct authorization code in each respective registration dialog box.
