Frequently asked question

When implementing IObjectClassDescription, why is there a ModelNameUnique property?

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Answer

Model names for object classes follow the same naming rules as tables. They must be unique-by-user in a geodatabase. The ModelNameUnique property is ignored in the class description and is always assumed to be True.
