The Output Resolution setting in the ArcView GIS page setup is used to sample the viewframe image at different ratios, depending on the setting.1. Low - 1:4
2. Normal - 1:2
3. High - 1:1
The Low setting will sample a quarter of the pixels in the viewframe.
The Normal setting will sample every other pixel in the viewframe.
The High setting will sample every pixel in the viewframe.
