What Australian state NTv2 files are included in ArcGIS 9.0?
Answer
Australia has published NTv2 files that cover the entire country. These files are present in the 9.0 installation. The older state and regional files were removed for space reasons.The new files and transformations are:
A66_National_13_09_01.gsb (AGD_1966_To_GDA_1994_11_NTv2)
National_84_02_07_01.gsb (AGD_1984_To_GDA_1994_5_NTv2)
The removed files are:
nt_0599.gsb
QLD_0900.gsb
SEAust_21_06_00.gsb
Tas_1098.gsb
Vic_0799.gsb
WA_0700.gsb
You can download the files from the ESRI Australia Web site that contains the state and regional files on this page:
NTv2 Transformations
After you download the files, place them in the pedata\ntv2\australia directory in your ArcGIS installation.
