When starting ArcInfo workstation the following error is printed:
"WARNING: Error of opening hash table for code page. WARNING: Error of opening hash table for code page. Code page conversion is off for writing data into files. Code page conversion is off for writing data into files."
After the error, ArcInfo Workstation starts.
The TEMP and TMP environment variables are pointing to a directory inaccessible to the user.
Change the values for the TEMP and TMP variables. The value should contain a directory to which the user has write permission. For help with setting a system environment variable, see: How To: Edit an environment variable.
