Visualizing Tracks in Track Viewer Feature

Description

As part of ongoing efforts to simplify and modernize Location Sharing in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, we are transitioning the visualization of Location Sharing tracks away from Track Viewer. The following describes the expected changes:

• Track Viewer will no longer have an experience for viewing tracks.
• Selecting a track view will navigate users to the configure page in Track Viewer (rather than opening track views directly in Track Viewer).
• Within the ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise Location Sharing Organization extensions settings, Open Track Viewer will be renamed to Manage Tracks.

Recommendation

Users can continue to view and analyze tracks through ArcGIS applications such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Map Viewer in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Dashboards, and ArcGIS Experience Builder. Any client which can query and view a feature service can query and view last known locations, tracks, and track lines.
