HOW TO

View measure fields in pop-ups in ArcGIS Pro

Last Published: May 17, 2021

Summary

Measure fields are available by default for linear features that contain measures such as Polyline M or Polyline ZM. The six measure fields include Measure, Minimum Measure, Maximum Measure, Measure Values, Parts, and All Measures Unknown.
However in some cases, the six additional fields may not be displayed in your pop-ups. This can happen to a feature service if it was published prior to ArcGIS Pro 2.8. This article describes the steps needed to view measure fields in pop-ups if they are not visible.

Procedure

To view measure fields, turn on the measure fields. The steps are as follows:

  1. For each layer, right-click the layer and select Configure Pop-ups.
Configure Pop-ups dialog box
  1. In the Configure Pop-ups pane, on the Fields tab, move the mouse over the Fields list and click the pencil icon to display the Fields Options.
Configure Pop-ups Fields
  1. If the measure fields are unchecked, select each Display box next to the measure fields to display them.

Note:
If the box labeled Only use visible fields and Arcade expressions is checked, as shown in the image below, it must be unchecked to select the Display boxes.
