User in credit budgeting enabled org with <subscription type> has fewer credits than min of 30

Error Message

Attempts to create, open, and run notebooks or notebook tasks in ArcGIS Notebooks in ArcGIS Online fail, and return the following error message:

User <user_name> in credit budgeting enabled org <org_ID> with subscription type '<subscription_type>' has <credit_value> credits which is fewer than min credits check of 30

Cause

Credit budgeting is enabled for the organization, and the member does not have sufficient credits to utilize notebooks. Creating, opening, and running notebooks require 30 credits per hour, per notebook, using the Advanced runtime as well as the Advanced with GPU runtime. Scheduled tasks will also fail with this error for all notebook runtimes. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Credits by capability for more information.

Solution or Workaround

To resolve the issue, choose one of the workarounds provided.

Update the member's credit allocation

Reset the member's credit allocation in Set allocation to be more than 30, or select No allocated limit in the Set credit allocation window. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Manage credit budget for instructions and more information.

Disable credit budgeting for the organization

Disable credit budgeting for the organization to remove individual credit limits. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Disable credit budgeting tools for instructions.
