Update schema changes with replication

Summary

Instructions provided describe how to update the schema of a replica geodatabase from a primary geodatabase using one-way or two-way replication.

Procedure

  1. Open ArcCatalog.
  2. Right-click the replica geodatabase > Distributed Geodatabase > Compare Replica Schema.
  3. Check the bullet for Geodatabase and browse to the primary geodatabase.
  4. Select the correct replica for Replica Name.
  5. Specify a name and location for Output replica schema changes XML file.
  6. Click Finish.
Note:
This creates an XML file with the schema changes.
  1. Right-click the replica geodatabase > Distributed Geodatabase > Import Replica Schema.
  2. Browse to the location of the XML file designated in step 5.
  3. Click Next and click Finish.
