Underlying DBMS error (ORA-02207: Invalid INITRANS option value)
Error Message
When attempting to register a layer as versioned, you may receive the following error message:
Failed to register layer as versioned. Underlying DBMS error (ORA-02207: Invalid INITRANS option value).
Cause
This error is caused when trying to register a layer as versioned and the INITRANS parameter in the dbtune.sde file is set to something other than two. This is a known limitation for versions 8.0.x.
Solution or Workaround
Set the INITRANS parameter in the dbtune.sde file to two.
