Description
In ArcGIS Pro 2.9, the Data Interop Workbench, Data Inspector and Quick Translator appear viable and can be selected, however they do not open even when the Data Interoperability extension is licensed.
Cause
The cause of this behavior is that each major release of ArcGIS Pro requires a separate download of the ArcGIS Data Interoperability for Pro component.
Solution or Workaround
To access the FME Workbench and Data Inspector, ensure that the following steps have been completed:
- Ensure that the Data interoperability extension for ArcGIS Pro is licensed.
- Ensure that the correct version of ArcGIS Data Interoperability for Pro has been downloaded and installed
- Each major version of ArcGIS Pro requires downloading and installing another version of ArcGIS Data Interoperability for Pro. For example, if you are successfully using the Data Interop extension in ArcGIS Pro 2.7.x and update to ArcGIS Pro 2.8.x, you must also download the version of ArcGIS Data Interoperability extension that comes with ArcGIS Pro 2.8.
ArcGIS Data Interoperability for Pro can be downloaded from MyEsri as follows:
- Sign in to MyEsri as a user with download permissions.
- Navigate to My Organizations > Downloads > All Versions.
- Select the drop-down option next to ArcGIS Pro and select the desired version.
- Select View Downloads next to the drop-down.
- Navigate to ArcGIS Data Interoperability for Pro and select Download.
- Once downloaded, open the installer and follow the prompts to complete the installation.
