Description
Accessing the ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension Manager page after upgrading ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server returns “No service found.”
Cause
The following are possible causes of this problem:
- An anti-virus application is denying access to the ArcGIS GeoEvent Manager page by blocking processes from the following path C:/Program Files/ArcGIS/Server.
Note:
Check if a firewall is configured in the environment. A firewall rule can be set to block
applications from executing and can cause this problem to occur.
- Folders associated with ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server are not removed when uninstalling the extension.
Note:
The error message, “404 Page not found”, can also be returned if access to
ArcGIS GeoEvent Manager page is blocked.
Solution or Workaround
The following are possible workarounds for this problem:
- Reinstall ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server. The steps below detail how to reinstall ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server.
- Perform a clean uninstallation of ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server to remove any residual files. The steps in the following ArcGIS for Server document describes this in detail: Uninstalling ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server.
- Remove the folders from the following paths: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\GeoEventProcessor and C:\ProgramData\ESRI\GeoEventProcessor.
