The Zoom In tool works to a certain point but then it will not zoom in any further

Description

After zooming in on a data set, to a very large scale, dragging a box on the Data View using the Zoom In tool no longer zooms in on the data.

Cause

You have reached a threshold scale of the data. The threshold is based on the extent of the data. For example, you're zooming to an extremely small section of a data set with a large extent.

Solution or Workaround

• Single-click the Zoom In tool in the center of the area you would like to view.
• Click the Fixed Zoom In tool.
