The Raster Attribute Table capability is missing from the REST endpoint of an image service

Description

When viewing the REST endpoint of an image service, the Raster Attribute Table resource is missing.

Cause

The value of the 'Has Raster Attribute Table' parameter is set to 'false'.

Solution or Workaround

Set the 'Has Raster Attribute Table' parameter to 'true'. Follow the steps below:

1. In ArcMap, go to the service properties of the image service. Click Parameters > Function.
2. Uncheck Convert Colormap to RGB.
   
   
    
3. Publish the image service. The Has Raster Attribute Table parameter switches to true and the attribute table information is visible when the Raster Attribute Table child resource is accessed at the REST endpoint.
