ERROR

The arc attribute items between the coverages, do not match

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Solution or Workaround

When using PUT or GET to move features from one coverage to another, the
attributes are not carried over and the following error occurs:

"The arc attribute items between the coverages, do not match
Only the User-Id and any matching items will be copied over
Copying the arc(s) into C:\USERS\MYBUILD..."

Cause:

PUT and GET commands do not carry over all attributes unless the Feature Attribute Tables (FATs) are identical. It has also been reported that having duplicate cover-ids can also prevent the attributes from being copied over.

Answer:

Create identical FATs. If the situation persists, make sure that there are no
duplicate cover-IDs in the two features being combined. For example, if the
editcoverage has cover-IDs 1 thru 100, make sure the PUT coverage has IDs of no less than 100.
