ERROR

stty :: invalid argument

Error Message

After installing ArcGIS Server, the following error message is displayed in the <arcgis>/servercore/.Server/configuration.log:

"stty :: invalid argument"

Cause

This error message is often caused when running stty in the C shell initialization script .cshrc or .login with a non-interactive shell.

Solution or Workaround

Remove stty commands from the .cshrc and .login files.
