Error Message

While installing an older version of Esri Maps for SAP BusinessObjects, the following error message may be encountered.

"Sorry, an error has occurred.

The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."
[O-Image] AIR installer file damaged

Cause

This error occurs when the Adobe AIR certificate used to sign the Esri Maps Designer application has expired.

Solution or Workaround

Download a recent Esri Maps for SAP Dashboards installation package from the Esri product page.
