Some features and layers are not available in ArcGIS Maps for SharePoint

Description

Some pages fail to render secure layers in ArcGIS Maps for SharePoint.

Cause

This issue is due to one of the following causes:

• The user is not signed to their ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online account.
• The signed-in user does not have sufficient privileges to access the content within the map.

Solution or Workaround

Maps hosted within ArcGIS Maps for SharePoint typically contain one or more data layers provided by an ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online organization. To access these layers, ensure the following:

• The user is signed in to the ArcGIS Maps for SharePoint map with a named user account for the ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online organization
• The layer is shared to a group of which the user is a member
