Summary
Users are able to select and search from their own custom locators in ArcGIS Earth. The locator(s) can be brought in when sharing a mobile map package (.mmpk). This is a guide on how to configure the .mmpk and locators so they can be selected and used within the ArcGIS Earth mobile application.
Procedure
- In ArcGIS Pro, create a custom locator. You must include a custom locator with your .mmpk. If you've already created one, find it in the Locators section in the Contents pane.
- In the Share tab, navigate to the Package group, and click Mobile Map.
- In the Package Mobile Map pane, under Start Packaging, select Upload package to Online account.
- Under options, check the box beside Include Locator. Use the dropdown menu to select the locator(s) to include in the .mmpk.
- Click Analyze to check for errors and warnings.
- Click Package.
- Log in to your ArcGIS Earth account.
- Tap the toolbox icon at the bottom of the screen, then click Add Data.

-
- Tap Portal.
- Tap My Content.
- Select the .mmpk and download it.
- Close out of all panes.
- Tap the toolbox icon > Add Data.
- Now that the .mmpk is downloaded to your device, tap File to select it from your device files.

-
- Select the map to open it.

- Now that the layer is on the map, tap the search button at the top right of the screen.
- Tap the L to the left of the search bar. Select your desired locator, then tap OK.

This will set your desired locator as the locator used for your session.
