ERROR

RESELECT for polygon features returns: Cannot open PAL file

Solution or Workaround

Using the RESELECT command on polygon features in ArcEdit or ArcPlot returns the message:

"Cannot open PAL file"

Cause:

The coverage topology has been altered or edited in ArcEdit and has not been rebuilt.

Solution:

Rebuild the topology by using the BUILD or CLEAN command.

Make sure that topology is present before displaying or querying the coverage.
