When printing with ArcMap, temporary print files are created in %TEMP%. Printing errors can occur if %TEMP% is on a drive with inadequate space.

Note: ArcPress for ArcMap also writes all temporary files to PRINTTMPDIR even if an APRESSTMPDIR is set.
