Error Message

When attempting to authorize an ArcGIS Reality Studio Single Use license, the following error message is returned:

"You are not authorized for an ArcGIS Reality Studio Advanced Single Use license. Please select a different base level or authorize an ArcGIS Reality Studio Advanced Single Use license."

The error occurs:

• Regardless of whether the authorization is performed by manually entering the authorization number or by using an authorization file.
• Regardless of whether other Esri products are installed on the device.

Cause

Reality Studio from the 2025.x versions require licenses that start with SNG.

Solution or Workaround

• Check whether the user has a valid authorization number beginning with 'SNG'.
• If the authorization number begins with ESU, contact Customer Service to:
  • Verify that the user is entitled to ArcGIS Reality Studio version 2025.x or later.
  • If the user is entitled to the current version of the software (2025.x or later), Customer Service should request that the correct authorization number be added to the customer's account.
• Verify that the user has received the correct authorization number and that it is visible in the customer's My Esri account.
