Description

Effective with the ArcGIS Online June 2025 update, ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App Standard will be included in the Creator, Professional, and Professional Plus user types and will no longer be sold separately as a focused app or as part of the ArcGIS Business Analyst Standard Bundle.

This update reflects the continued evolution of user types to expand access to capabilities, simplify administration, and allow customers to easily scale as their organization’s needs grow. By including ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App Standard, users will have the added value of applying GIS technology to extensive demographic and global data to deliver on-demand analysis and presentation-ready maps, infographics, and reports. With Business Analyst Web App Standard and Business Analyst Mobile App, users can visualize people and opportunities clearly and reach their target audience.

This sales model change does not impact the ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App Advanced and ArcGIS Business Analyst Advanced Bundle. ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App Advanced will continue to be sold separately.

Recommendation

Impact to current customers is low.

• Business Analyst Web App Standard will be included in the Creator and above user types for ArcGIS Online. Existing Business Analyst Web App Standard customers will be quoted Business Analyst Web App Standard through Creator and above user types, upon their next renewal after the ArcGIS Online June 2025 update.
• Business Analyst Standard Bundle customers will receive subscription license renewal notices containing Creator user type only. ArcGIS Online credits will need to be purchased separately through the Esri Store, Inside Sales, or by contacting Esri Customer Service (1-888-377-4575, option 5).
• Business Analyst Web App Standard will be included in the Creator and above user types for ArcGIS Enterprise, which will carry over to Business Analyst Enterprise, starting with version 12.0. ArcGIS Enterprise customers with at least one ArcGIS Online Creator user type or above can leverage Business Analyst Web App Standard through ArcGIS Online utility services.
