PROBLEM
When applying a filter to data in an ArcGIS Dashboards element, some values are unavailable.
The image below shows the indicator element with only one value in the Value drop-down menu in ArcGIS Dashboards.
The field used the data in the element is a coded string field as it is an attribute domain field. This issue occurs because of the original data configuration, causing only certain attribute values to be shown in the Value drop-down menu. Refer to ArcGIS Dashboards: Field types and coded strings for more information.
In ArcGIS Online, add a new field with the desired domain attributes on the Data tab of the item’s page and select the new field in ArcGIS Dashboards.
Remove the domain attribute in ArcGIS Pro and overwrite it in ArcGIS Online
Note: Alternatively, the domain attribute can be edited using the Domains toolset in ArcGIS Pro. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: An overview of the Domains toolset for more information.
In ArcGIS Pro, remove the attribute domain association from the feature layer and overwrite it in ArcGIS Online.
The indicator element shows multiple attribute values of the field in the Value drop-down menu.
