Using ArcPy to publish image services is no longer supported

Description

Any examples using ArcPy for image service publishing were written in Python 2.7. Even though they still work now in Python 3.6, they will not be supported going forward and may actually break with ArcObjects11.

Cause

The new Python 3.6 ArcPy method for publishing image services will not be implemented in the foreseeable future, although a function exists for map services. See: the help topic CreateSharingDraft.

Solution or Workaround

Esri recommends publishing image services programmatically only using JSON and the REST API for ArcGIS Server.
