Unintentional inclusion in export presets created by ArcGIS Pro

Description

In ArcGIS Pro versions 2.9 through 3.1, PDF export presets include the passwords for opening and editing documents if the passwords are populated at the time the preset is created. If passwords are not populated when the preset is created, no further action is required.

Cause

The passwords are unintentionally written to the file.  However, these passwords are not applied when the preset is used for exporting.

Solution or Workaround

This defect is fixed in the ArcGIS Pro 3.1.3 and 3.0.6 patches. For earlier versions of ArcGIS Pro 3.1.x or 3.0.x releases, recreate the export preset after verifying there are no passwords set in the PDF security settings.
