Unable to view attachments in the pop-up of a feature class in ArcGIS Pro

Description

When attachments are added to features in a feature class in ArcGIS Pro, the attachments do not display in the feature pop-ups.

In other instances, image attachments in the pop-ups are displayed as broken images, as shown in the pop-up below.

Cause

• The attachment element is not added to the pop-up.
• The attachment is an HEIC image. The HEIC file format is not supported for attachment display in ArcGIS Pro pop-ups. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Work with attachments in the geodatabase for more information.

Solution or Workaround

Add the attachment element to the pop-up

1. In the Contents pane, right-click the feature class and select Configure Pop-ups.
2. In the Configure Pop-ups pane, click Attachments to add the attachment element.
