Problem: Unable to Select the Fill Option When Specifying the Alternate Selection Color in

Description

In ArcGIS Pro, when selecting the 'Choose alternate color' option in the Selection tab of the Layer Properties dialog box, the Fill option is disabled, as shown below.

Cause

The 'Apply a selection color to polygon interiors' option is unchecked in the Options dialog box. For more information, refer to ArcGIS Pro: Selection options.

Solution or Workaround

In ArcGIS Pro, on the top ribbon, click Project > Options > Selection.
Under Set interactive selection options and modes, check the Apply a selection color to polygon interiors checkbox.
Select the desired selection color option. In this example, Hatched fill is selected. Click OK.
