PROBLEM
When creating a new feature in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, the following warning message is returned in the Create features pane:
Warning: Value should be one of the listed values.
Expanding the drop-down list and selecting the displayed value (in this example, '0'), returns the following warning message:
Warning: Please enter a value
This is expected behavior when an attribute field is assigned domains, but the displayed and selected values do not constitute the domain value assigned. Domains are rules that constrain the value of a field. Thus, only values within the assigned domains are valid for the field.
To resolve the issue in Map Viewer, select a domain value from the drop-down list.
Alternatively, follow the steps provided to create a new feature with a non-domain value for a field with assigned domains in ArcGIS Pro.
Note: Turning the attribute validation off allows a non-domain value to be assigned to a field with assigned domains when a new feature is created in ArcGIS Pro.
