Unable to search for features in a map in ArcGIS Field Maps

Description

When searching for features in ArcGIS Field Maps using the Search function, the features are not displayed in the search result, as shown in the image below.

Cause

• The 'By Layer' search setting is not enabled and configured.
• The search setting is set to 'Equals'.

Solution or Workaround

Depending on the cause, use one of the following workarounds to resolve the issue.

Enable and configure the ‘By Layer’ search setting in ArcGIS Online

Enable By Layer and configure the feature search for maps in ArcGIS Online. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Configure feature and table search for maps for further instructions.

Change 'Equals' to 'Contains' for the search term in ArcGIS Online

Configure the search result to contain the search term by following the instructions below.

1. Log in to ArcGIS Online and click Content > My Content.
2. Browse to and click the web map.
3. On the item details page, click the Settings tab.
4. Scroll down to the Web Map section, under Application Settings, select Contains from the drop-down menu.
5. Click Save.

Note: 
In ArcGIS Field Maps, tap Enter after typing the feature name in the Search function for the feature to be displayed in the suggestion section, as only results from the ArcGIS World Geocoding Service are displayed when typing.

The feature found through the Search function is displayed in the suggestions section.
