Unable to rename a tab title in the ArcGIS Dashboards mobile view

Description

In the ArcGIS Dashboards mobile view, users can stack two or more elements on top of each other to create tabs for each element. Once the element is added to the stack, a new tab is created. While editing and updating the mobile view, the new tab title in the View pane is not reflected in the tab title on the mobile view screen, as shown in the image below. This article provides the workaround.

Cause

This is by design. Although the Tabs list is accessible in the View pane and has the Rename option for each tab, it is not possible to rename the mobile view tab title through it.

Solution or Workaround

1. On the ArcGIS Dashboards page, navigate to the dashboard and click the Edit icon.

2. On the dashboard toolbar, click the View button to open the View pane.

3. In the View pane, click the drop-down button and select Mobile to open the dashboard mobile view.

4. In the dashboard mobile view, navigate the cursor to a viewable tab and click the tab. Simultaneously, use the keyboard arrow keys (left or right arrow) to navigate to the hidden tabs.

Note: 
When many elements are stacked one on top of another to form tabs, several tabs are hidden from the mobile view screen.

5. Double-click the tab to rename the tab title, specify a new title, and press Enter to save the changes.

6. Click Save > Save to save the changes to the dashboard mobile view.
