Unable to prepare authorization for Single Use License

Description

When attempting to authorize a Single Use license using either the Online or Offline method, the software authorization fails to prepare the authorization package for Single Use licenses.

Cause

When the ArcGIS Administrator was installed, the software authorization did not install properly. Installing ArcGIS License Manager overwrites these DLLs.

Solution or Workaround

1. Install ArcGIS License Manager. To do this, refer to License manager installation and startup.
2. Launch ArcGIS Administrator and reauthorize the Single Use license. To do this, refer to Authorizing ArcGIS single use products and features.
3. Select a Single Use product and license level in ArcGIS Administrator.
4. Launch ArcMap and verify it runs.
