Unable to load the site creation page after installing ArcGIS Server

Description

After installing ArcGIS Server, the site creation page does not load on a browser. In some cases, a 404 error message is returned when attempting to load the site creation page.

Cause

• There are firewall restrictions on the ports used by ArcGIS Server.
• There is a bad certificate reference in the server.xml file.

Solution or Workaround

Choose one of the following solutions, depending on the cause.

• Ensure the ports used by ArcGIS Server is not blocked by the machine's firewall system. Refer to ArcGIS Enterprise: Ports used by ArcGIS Server for more information.

Note:
Seek the assistance of the organization's IT department to create firewall exceptions.
