Description
When adding a web map from ArcGIS Online to ArcGIS Pro, the sublayers in the group layer cannot be labeled, and label classes cannot be created. Although the options are available, enabling labeling and selecting the 'Create label class' option yield no results.
The image below shows the empty Label Class pane for the sublayers in ArcGIS Pro. In this example, PotentialCustomers and CustDriveInt are the sublayers within the Proximity group layer.
Cause
The label class for the hosted feature layer is not created in ArcGIS Online, although the labels are enabled for the layer.
