Unable to export CSV files in ArcGIS Experience Builder

Description

In an ArcGIS Experience Builder experience, when using the Table widget, the option to export the hosted feature layer view to a CSV file is unavailable.

Cause

• The 'Allow others to export data in different formats' setting is not enabled in ArcGIS Online.
• The 'Allow exports' setting is not enabled in ArcGIS Experience Builder.
• If both the options above cannot be changed, the option to export a hosted feature layer view is only available to the owner of the data or Administrators.

Solution or Workaround

Enable the 'Allow others to export data in different formats' setting

Note:
Only an organization's default administrator or the item's owner can perform the following workflow.

Log in to ArcGIS Online and enable the Allow others to export data in different formats setting. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Allow data exports for further instructions.

Enable the 'Allow exports' setting

1. In ArcGIS Experience Builder, click the Data tab.
2. In the Data pane, navigate to and click the feature layer.
3. In the feature layer pane, enable the Allow exports setting.

Assign a custom role to the user

Note:
Only an organization's default administrator or a member with administrative privileges can perform the following workflow.

Create a custom role with administrative privileges to share content owned by other members. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Administrative privileges for more information.
