Unable to copy and paste in Python notebooks in ArcGIS Pro

Description

In some instances, attempts to copy and paste code within the code cells of Python notebooks using the keyboard shortcuts in ArcGIS Pro fail.

Cause

• The keyboard shortcuts are disabled because the Notebook view is inactive.
• The ArcGIS Pro projects are corrupted.

Solution or Workaround

Activate the Notebook view

In ArcGIS Pro, to enable the keyboard shortcuts, click the Map tab or other tabs before re-clicking the Notebook tab.

Close and reopen the notebook

In ArcGIS Pro, close the notebook and reopen it.

Restart ArcGIS Pro

Close the current session of ArcGIS Pro, and restart the local machine.
