Unable to configure the editing option when publishing a web map in ArcGIS Pro

Description

In ArcGIS Pro, the editing option to configure the web feature layer's operation is unavailable when publishing a web map to ArcGIS Online, rendering the web map to be non-editable in the web apps.

Cause

The ‘Copy all data: Exploratory’ option under Select a Configuration is selected by default when publishing a web map to ArcGIS Online.

Solution or Workaround

Use one of the methods below to resolve the issue.

Select the Copy all data: Editable option

In ArcGIS Pro, select the Copy all data: Editable option under Select a Configuration in the Share As Web Map pane, before publishing a web map to ArcGIS Online.

Delete temporary files or clear the cache in ArcGIS Pro
