Description

The time slider is disabled when polygon layers are added from Excel to a map in ArcGIS for Office.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Solution or Workaround

To enable the time slider, use the 'Add from ArcGIS' button to add time-enabled polygon layers from ArcGIS.
