The Share Link option is not available in ArcGIS Dashboards

Description

A dashboard can be embedded into a story map or another dashboard using the dashboard's URL. The dashboard's URL can be found in the Share Link option in the Options drop-down menu as shown in the following image:

However, in some instances, the Share Link option is not available when a dashboard is viewed in ArcGIS Dashboards.

Cause

This is by design. The Share Link option is only available in ArcGIS Dashboards Classic. 

Solution or Workaround

Use one of the options below to obtain the URL of a dashboard created in ArcGIS Dashboards.

Copy the URL from the browser's address bar

When viewing a dashboard created with ArcGIS Dashboards, the URL in the browser's address bar can be copied and used to embed the dashboard into a story map or another dashboard. To copy the URL, highlight the URL in the browser's address bar, and press the Ctrl button and C button on the keyboard.

Copy the URL of the dashboard from the item details page

1. In ArcGIS Online, navigate to Content > My Content, and click the dashboard to access the item details page.
2. On the item details page, scroll to the bottom of the web page. Under URL, click the Copy icon.

Note:
Do not copy the short URL provided under Details on the dashboard's item details page. This short URL is linked to the item details page instead of the dashboard.
