The option to share a feed publicly is unavailable in ArcGIS Velocity

Description

Most ArcGIS Online items can be shared publicly, outside of the organization. However, this functionality is not available in ArcGIS Velocity.

Cause

This is a known limitation in the current ArcGIS Online October 2023 release. While most ArcGIS Online items have the 'Everyone (public)' capability, this option is unavailable in the current version of ArcGIS Velocity.

Solution or Workaround

As an alternative, perform one of the following workflows.

Share the feed to a member of the organization or a group

In ArcGIS Velocity, share the feed within the organization or with members of a group. Refer to ArcGIS Velocity: Share a feed for further instructions.

Establish a collaboration between the two organizations

To allow another organization to access the ArcGIS Velocity feed, establish a collaboration between the two organizations.
