The Enable Editor Tracking tool returns an error when using a mosaic dataset in ArcGIS Pro

Error Message

When running the Enable Editor Tracking tool on a mosaic dataset in ArcGIS Pro, the following error message is returned.

Error:   
Error 001218: No editor tracking property selected for operation.

Cause

This is a known limitation. The error message is returned when there are no pre-existing editor tracking fields specified. Additionally, if the ‘Add fields’ option is selected, the names of the fields to be added must be provided by filling in values for the Creator Field, Creation Date Field, and Last Edit Date Field parameters.

Solution or Workaround

Note:
The Enable Editor Tracking tool does not auto-generate the editor tracking fields, these field names and must be specified by the user.

1. In ArcGIS Pro, navigate to View > Geoprocessing.
2. In the Geoprocessing pane, search for and select the Enable Editor Tracking tool.
3. Configure the Parameters tab.
   1. Select input for Input Dataset.
   2. Specify the fields for Creator Field, Creation Date Field, and Last Edit Date Field.
   3. Check the Add fields check box.
   4. Click Run.
