The edits made on the item details page of an ArcGIS Instant Apps app are not retained after republishing the app

Description

On the item details page of an ArcGIS Instant Apps app, the editing made in the Summary and Description sections are not retained after configuring and republishing the app.

This is depicted in the image below.

Cause

This is by design. This issue occurs when the item details page and the configuration page of the ArcGIS Instant Apps app are opened simultaneously in different tabs or windows.

Solution or Workaround

To solve the issue, close one of the pages during editing and work on the same tab or window.

Alternatively, ensure the Save buttons are clicked every time the Summary and Description sections are modified before configuring the app.
